Voice Of The Sun – Sunflower invites you to explore the soul of Ukrainian tradition through deeply emotive lyrical phrases, chromatic vowel sustains, staccatos, and expressive swells. This library marks a new horizon in our vocal series, balancing authentic cultural heritage with modern playability.

This project was developed in close partnership with session producer, director, and engineer Maks Histibe. Drawing from the creative vision behind Swords to Ploughshares, Maks has hand-selected 864 lyrical phrases derived from Ukrainian poetic literature (1698–1905).

Each performance captures the abiding spirit and rich cultural history of a nation, sung with the dynamic, improvisational nuance of deep folk tradition. It was performed by vocalist Kristina Glushenkova, and recorded on location at Letti Music in Kyiv.

Beyond the lyrical content, the library features 267 pure vowel melodic phrases and playable chromatic articulations, including sustain, swell, and staccato with round-robin, sampled in Ah, Oo, and Hummed variations.

Total flexibility and creative control

we’ve also included 60 signature custom soundscapes, synth leads, and pads. Cultivated directly from the raw vocal source recordings, these textures are engineered to provide an essential, atmospheric foundation for cinematic scoring, electronic production, and experimental sound design.
