Bring on the bounce with instant head nod-inducing beats rooted in hazy, late 90s New York clubs — a scene that created the absolute bedrock that Hip Hop and R&B of today rely on. This XOpak’s hard-hitting drums and infectious grooves were created by seminal trailblazer Rockwilder, one of the era’s most prominent and instrumental producers.
Grammy award-winning producer Rockwilder is a seminal force in the East Coast Hip Hop scene, heavily influenced by the raw, sample-based production of the 90s. His knack for futuristic, club-friendly hits set him apart from other producers of the era. He produced the iconic track & Hip Hop anthem “Da Rockwilder” for Method Man & Redman, and the global knockout hit “Lady Marmalade” from the Moulin Rouge soundtrack featuring Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim, Mya, and P!nk.
Rockwilder’s signature blend of tight, punchy drums, dark synth textures, and hard-hitting bass lines made him the go-to producer for artists looking for an energetic yet polished sound. His ability to adapt to different genres while maintaining his signature bouncy, club-ready production cemented his place as one of the defining producers of the late 90s and early 2000s.
