Gennerate is bassed upon a set of chaotic generators. What looks like randomness contains underlying patterns, interconnectivity, feedback loops, repetition and self organisation. All 8 of the chaotic generators bring these patterns and create an oscillator that can fluently go from sine wave to total chaos, with the possibility to sit somewhere inbetween. Musical textures include distortion, harmonics, grunge, noise – all of them can be perfectly modulated or totally random.

Generate’s chaotic generators can be routed through a wavefolder. You can choose from 5 kinds of Wavefolders: Buchla 259, Saturate of new Animated of Fractal wavefolders, that add unique overtones. After that the output goes through a low pass gate. Both modules work together to create a versatile and musical voice with its own flavor.

Nearly all parameters in Generate can be modulated with a combination of 2 envelope generators, 2 LFO’s, a sample and random/hold generator, an 8 step sequencer and MIDI and MPE sources. The innovative modulation interface makes it possible for you to easily and quickly patch all sources together.

You can also add effects on the output of Generate, like EQ, chorus, delay, reverb and a limiter.

Generate comes with over 900 presets, from known producers, so you can start exploring and using Generate for your tracks.
