Waves Redd Abbey Road
De Londense Abbey road studio’s waren in de jaren 60 het epicentrum van de aardverschuiving in de muziek-wereld. The Beatles, The Hollies, Pink Floyd en talloze andere beroemdheden uit de muziekgeschiedenis hebben in de Abbey Road Studios, een revolutie teweeg gebracht welke je nog steeds voelt heden ten dage.
En in het hart van dit alles: de REDD consoles, op maat ontworpen, gebouwd door en genoemd naar Abbey Road Studios ‘in-house Record Engineering Development Department. Bekend om hun zijdezachte EQ curves, buitengewone warmte en rijke stereo beeldspraak, er is iets magisch over de REDDs die klinken als geen andere console.

- Bass Liftcontrols the 9 dB low shelf that compensates for low frequency loss caused by using condenser microphones in a Figure 8 configuration.
- EQ Selecttoggles between Classic and Pop EQ types. The Classic treble EQ features a shelf boost or cut at 10 kHz; Pop EQ is a peak boost centered around 5 kHz, with a shelf cut centered at 10 kHz. Both Pop and Classic settings feature a continuous 10 dB of boost or cut at 100 Hz.(REDD .37-.51 only)
